After completing his studies at IVA Driebergen, Dirk embarked on a career as an automobile salesman, representing various renowned brands including Ford, Fiat, Lancia, Volkswagen, and Audi. Subsequently, he transitioned to a field service role as an account manager at Continental Banden Groep (Pon), a prominent importer of tires and automotive components. Within this organization, he steadily climbed the ladder from an account manager to a sales manager.
Driven by his passion for the automotive industry, Dirk later assumed the role of regional manager at FCA Netherlands, where he ultimately ascended to the position of sales manager responsible for overseeing the Fiat, Lancia, and Abarth brands in the Netherlands.
Over the years, Dirk has cultivated an extensive network, engaging with numerous stakeholders. This experience has provided him with profound insights into both B2B and B2C dynamics. Within the Automotive sector, Dirk has had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the inner workings of various car companies and importers, honing his acumen for effective management and sales strategies in diverse scenarios. One of Dirk’s guiding principles is succinctly captured in his motto: “If you do what you did, you will get what you got.”
Outside of his professional pursuits, Dirk finds enjoyment in indulging his interests in Motorcycling, Water Sports, and Fitness.
After completing his studies at IVA Driebergen, Gert (born in 1972) embarked on a diverse sales career within the automotive industry. He held several sales positions at esteemed car companies, assuming pivotal roles at the importer level, overseeing the used car policy at both BMW Nederland and Fiat Nederland. Over the years, Gert garnered valuable expertise through his work across Importers, Leasing Companies, and Car Dealers, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the essential qualifications candidates must possess to excel at each level.

Since 1992 I have been working in the automotive industry. I have gained experience at various importers (Peugeot, Saab and DaimlerChrysler) in the field of fleet sales, leasing and rentals. In the automotive industry lies not only my work experience, but also my added value to deploy people with the right talents and competencies and with the right motivation in the right place. Not only does this help people come into their own, it also means that the company performs better as a result.
